ABOUT JOSUE "JT" TORRES was born on December 15, 1983, and from his childhood he had a liking for the world of music and theater. At the young age of fourteen, he was part of a major theater company in the city of Lorain, OH where he stood out as a librettist, actor and musician. In 2005, he was hired by the Puerto Rico half-day production to be part of the program on WAPA TV, which opens doors to other programs such as Café teatro el fiombón with Susa and Epifanio. In 2010 he returned to Puerto Rican television, succeeding with his character Chef Kako Viste and collaborating in the most watched programs of that channel. In 2012 he decided to dedicate his talent completely to family comedy and to carry a positive message and motivation through healthy humor. JT has managed to have successful presentations in and out of Puerto Rico. He has written and produced works such as "AY QUE CRUZ", "QUE GRACIOSITOS", "IN THE SALA WITH THE PANAS" and KAKO'S A LA CARTA BUFÉ "among others. Currently, with his character Chef Kako Viste, he has a healthy comedy segment on the Nueva Vida 97.7 station every Thursday at 7:30 am and on Tuesdays he has a Stand up Comedy segment. From 2015 to 2016, with his character Chef Kako Viste, Josue was part of WAPA TV's Win with Wins program, until it reached its end of the season. Since 2013, Josué Torres has headed the company Proyectos JT Inc., which is dedicated to the production of family theatrical events and social awareness.
